The media landscape is evolving faster than it ever has before. Marketers must find smart ways to identify key changes they can make to their Media plan to continue reaching a mass audience in a media world with unprecedented fragmentation. Clearly identifying your targets and testing new media channels continuously will be key in the coming years. Come to learn some key principles that Sonic has put into place to ensure they are evolving their media strategy to reach customers in this new world.
Tamara Stanley is senior director of media for the Oklahoma City-based national headquarters of SONIC®, America's Drive-In®. Named to her position in 2012, Stanley is responsible for leading Sonic’s media agency to develop a media plan that drives sales and traffic to all of Sonic’s locations. The team manages all media planning and buying as well as all digital and social media communications.
Stanley has more than 22 years of marketing experience. Prior to assuming her current position, she served as director of integrated marketing communications. She has been a leader in the Marketing Department at SONIC since 2006. She previously worked at Payless ShoeSource as brand manager on the kids’ and men’s brands.
She holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Kansas and bachelor’s of science degree in marketing from Oklahoma State University. Stanley and her two children live in Yukon, Oklahoma.
