Account Coordinators at STF work on various client teams and projects in both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City offices, and serve as day-to-day support for the account executives and occasionally for clients under direct supervision. The account coordinator will also assist the administrative team with various accounting and scheduling duties.
Note this position can be based in Tulsa or Oklahoma City and will work with account teams in both offices. Due to COVID we are currently working remotely full time. Return to office date and details to be determined (will continue to be flexible).
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides account management support to individuals and teams who provide counsel and support on a number of issues to clients. Some direct client support will also be required. Must have entry level awareness in some of the following areas:Research
Event planning and management
News and op-ed writing and editing
Assists in the development of communication plans on behalf of clients.
Assists in providing creative input for clients as requested
Social media content creation
Basic graphic design
Company SupportAssists in promotion and marketing of the firm
Encourage business development by promoting the firm to potential new clients.
Practices and maintains strong internal communications.
Provides support to the management, account executives and administration team
Demonstrates active participation and leadership in civic and charitable activities
Maintains good working relationships with community groups, including nonprofit, civic, education, civic, cultural and others
Represents the firm at a variety of external functions
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIESAbility to provide excellent customer service
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Entry level experience in public relations, journalism, marketing and/or public affairs
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills, high energy level, good listening skills and solid professional ethics. Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are a must.
Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with all staff members throughout the firm.
Work is accomplished in an office environment with the availability of all equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks. Work from home will also be an option at many times (STF will provide necessary equipment to ensure proper work from home environment). Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with other staff members and general public. Some travel to other firm locations is required.
Requires driving an automobile, running errands, walking, bending, stooping, stretching, and carrying objects (usually less than twenty-five pounds). Requires finger dexterity for keyboarding, visual skills for reading and clear verbal skills for communicating over the telephone and in person.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and to adapt to a changing environment and changing procedures.
